The event is being held at the MD Anderson Cancer Center, which about a block from the National Center for Macromolecular Imaging at Baylor College of Medicine. Both of these institutions are part of the Texas Medical Center in Houston.
Shared vans (SuperShuttle) are available from both airports.
Cost for a cab is about $65 from IAH or $35 from Hobby (HOU) to the Medical Center.

Houston does not have any trains or subways running to the airports. While there is now light rail service in the central part of the city, connecting many of the interesting tourist destinations, Houston is quite large, geographically, and cars remain the most common mode of transportation.
