Hotel reservations must be made by each individual.
The official hotel for the event is the Hilton at the University of Houston. It is located ~1 block from the workshop site, on the U of H campus, and is very convenient. However, very limited space is available, and our discounted rate is available only through Feb. 11, so please reserve early. The rate is $129 for a single occupancy room and $139 for double-occupancy. You will need to make your own arrangements for room sharing, prior to making the hotel reservation if you opt for double-occupancy.

When the Hilton becomes full, there are a number of other hotels within a short drive of the U of H campus, but we do hot have any special arrangements at any of them. Hotels in the Texas Medical Center are in reasonably close proximity, and are a popular choice. Note that if you stay offsite, daily transportation to U of H will NOT be provided. You may wish to arrange to carpool, etc. with other participants.
